Blocking Websites in Windows XP

Hai Friends, In this post we ll see how to block websites in windows XP with ease…..No software needed…..

1->Jus Go to this path C://Windows/system32/drivers/etc ( Assuming that you are installing your OS in C Drive)

2->Their you find a file named as “hosts”….Double click it and open it with Notepad…..

3->Append the sites URL( like 127.0.0.1 www.Google.com ) at the end of the hosts file….Thats all now you blocked google.com in your system..

4->remove it to access the site again….

5->127.0.0.1 is the loop back address and all those sites are re targeted to your own system..

Thats all……So simple…..Keep rocking………
